KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Bikes of all types gathered at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Kalamazoo on Saturday for the Bikers’ Blessing event.
Now in its 11th year, the event aimed to make the community aware of more people riding motorized and non-motorized bikes as summer approaches.

“This is an opportunity for motorcycles and bicycles to be a part of an event that signals to the community that be aware that people are on the street other than just cars,” said Ollie Barnes, an event organizer.
A motorcyclist rally kicked off the event at Battle Creek Harley Davidson, and featured a police escorted ride that stopped to pick up additional riders at Wings Event Center.
