Sheriff Chad Spence says “In today’s digital age, misinformation can spread rapidly through social media and unofficial channels. While many platforms are useful for staying connected, they are not always accurate. Unverified information often causes unnecessary confusion, concern, or even panic”.
Spence added “We want our community to be informed, but we also want them to be accurately informed, if residents have questions or concerns about public safety or law enforcement activity, they should go directly to the source.”…
