Twelve Baskets Food Pantry opens Community Store

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Twelve Baskets Food Pantry in Portage opened their newly renovated community store Saturday amid increasing food insecurity in our area.

The store provides garage sale-priced new and used essentials. All proceeds from sales will go towards the food bank’s efforts to combat hunger in the community.

Prices on everything from clothing, kitchen appliances, toys, and others will be priced 75% or more off of retail price, organizers said, and many items are available for as little as $1.
