Battle Creek celebrates with cereal parade ahead of National Cereal Festival

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — There is much to celebrate in the Battle Creek community this weekend.

Coinciding with the Battle Creek Cereal Sale was the Cereal Parade, which began and ended at the Kool Center Friday night.

There were many important guests who attended, including Tony the Tiger, Sugar Bear, and Mrs. Michigan 2025.

Those who came out had a great time, come rain or come shine.

“I loved it. Kids loved it,” Michael Blair, a Battle Creek resident, said. “Kids enjoyed all the candy and cereal that they threw out at them.”…
