KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Runners tied up their laces and hit the pavement Saturday in the 47th annual Kalamazoo Klassic.
The event, comprised of a 5K and 10K run, kicked off at the Maple Street Magnet School field near Howard Street at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 10K race at 9:30 a.m.
Those who participated took a lap or two down West Maple Street, and followed a path to Oakland Drive, Whites Road, Bronson Boulevard, Crosstown Parkway and back to the start, according to a map provided by organizers…
