Husband facing charges after Kalamazoo woman fatally shot in domestic violence case

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Prosecutors have authorized multiple charges in connection to the deadly shooting of 47-year-old Sariah Robinson, who was killed last week in what investigators describe as a domestic violence-related homicide.

Kalamazoo County Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Getting confirmed Monday that Robinson and the suspect were married at the time of the shooting, and that Robinson was in the process of filing for divorce.

The incident happened Thursday on Woodward Avenue near West Paterson Street.
