Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek has just added a fluffy bundle of joy to its family: a newborn red panda cub. Making its entrance into the world on June 11, this tiny creature marks the first offspring for the red panda Garnet, as reported by WWMT. The father, named Justin, can still be seen strutting his stuff in the red panda habitat, enticing zoo guests with his charismatic presence.
While the cub’s mother and it are bonding in a private space, zoo aficionados can try to catch a “quiet look” at the new arrival through a viewing window.
