PORTAGE, MI — A longtime trades business with deep Portage roots is expecting to double its workforce as it expands with the help of a $1.25 million grant.
Pro Services Inc., headquartered at 8132 Merchant Place, announced Tuesday, June 24, that it had plans to invest up to $12.4 million to expand its operations in Portage. The expansion is happening with the help of a $1.25 million performance-based Michigan Business Development Program grant, approved Tuesday.
The company, which operates primarily in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, has 225 employees with 151 based in Michigan. The company anticipates the expansion will create at least 250 new jobs in Kalamazoo County…
