A Kalamazoo man has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term for his role in the death of a local woman last year. Marvin Humphrey, 53, was sentenced to 18 to 40 years in prison after entering a no contest plea to the second-degree murder charge connected to the death of Minette Weaver, age 68. The sentencing took place yesterday, and Humphrey was attributed with 144 days of credit for time already served, as reported by FOX 17.
