BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — The United States Air Force Thunderbirds arrived at the Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival Thursday, flying in precise formation to the delight of viewers on the ground.
“It’s an incredible honor and very humbling to go to work and do this every day,” pilot Maj. Laney Schol, a Texas native who is in her first season with the Thunderbirds, said. “When I was in college, I saw the Thunderbirds for the first time and just was awe-inspired.
