One killed in four separate shootings in Kalamazoo July 4, 5

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Safety is investigating four separate shootings that happened July 4 and July 5 between 10:50 p.m. and 4 a.m.

A 34-year-old man was killed in the third shooting police are investigating that happened around 3 a.m. July 5 in the 1200 block of West Paterson Street. Two other men, 23 and 29-years-old, were shot in their legs.

The first shooting was just before 11 p.m. on July 4 in the 1300 block of Krom Street. A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition and a 41-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were both shot in an ankle…
