A Kalamazoo shooting victim died of a medical emergency in a patrol car while deputies investigated a shooting in Calhoun County, Michigan.
The officers had spoken briefly to the 35-year-old man while determining whether anyone had been injured in the altercation and making efforts to secure the scene, according to the report from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were sent to the 21000 block of North Avenue in Pennfield Township about 11:37 a.m. Sunday, on the report of shots fired.
