Hot ‘n Now Is Back in West Michigan This Summer!

Hot ‘n Now is making a comeback in West Michigan with new locations in Wayland Township and Alpena, reviving a beloved fast food brand from the ’90s.

Hot ‘n Now

When I lived in Flint, Michigan, I was in a band that rehearsed in a storage unit located on Dort Highway. We were broke musicians, so finding the most affordable food was important. Lucky for us, a Hot ‘n Now was built directly across the street. We would pool our money and get a bag of 39-cent burgers. Those were the days.

We were heartbroken when the Hot ‘n Now location shut down in the late ’90s. The company had already begun to struggle in the mid-90s, and in 2004, Hot ‘n Now filed for bankruptcy. Only one independently owned location in Sturgis, Michigan, survived and is still operating to this day.

Hot ‘n Now Revival Coming to West Michigan This Summer

According to a press release, Gun Lake Investments and Alpena business owner and developer Jeff Konczak, operating as HNN Holdings, LLC, are opening two Hot ‘n Now locations.

The West Michigan location will be across the street from Gun Lake Casino at 1146 129th Avenue in Wayland Township. Once the Hot ‘n Now is up and running, families will be able to enjoy The Olive Burger and Cheesy Taters, along with their wallet-friendly prices.

Once the location is built in Wayland Township, another will be built in Alpena and open in October of this year. Gun Lake Investments has not announced plans for future locations but is actively exploring opportunities.

A Hot ‘n Now website has been created where you can follow the construction and check out the menu items by clicking here…
