KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Bronson Park in Kalamazoo became the site of the Black Arts Festival on Saturday.
Hosted by the Black Arts & Cultural Center, the Black Arts Festival aimed to uplift black artistry in our area, and celebrate the richness of black artistry and history, according to organizers.
Additionally, it gave small business owners within the black community the chance to indulge in community and culture.

“It feels motivating for us… to be able to embrace our culture with all our black African-Americans around here and the diversity here as well.
