A Battle Creek man pleaded guilty in Huron County 52nd Circuit Court on Monday to using stolen credit numbers to buy more than $7,000 in lottery tickets from a Bad Axe party store.
Ruben Darnell Whimper, 25, entered a guilty plea to false pretenses — $1,000 to $20,000 on Monday morning in 52nd Circuit Court. This is a felony charge that carries a penalty of up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
