Michigan man denied bond in fatal June shooting of 34-year-old woman

CALHOUN COUNTY, MI – A suspect who police believe is responsible for a shooting last month in Pennfield Township was arraigned on Friday, July 25.

Kyle McNutt, 36, pleaded not guilty to charges of open murder, felony firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of child abuse in the first degree, according to the 10th District Court in Battle Creek.
