Portage’s Ramona Park Beach reopens after E. coli tests show improved results

PORTAGE, Mich. — Ramona Park Beach on Long Lake in Portage has reopened after being shut down due to elevated E. coli levels.

Tests performed on Wednesday, July 30 showed improved results that comply with Michigan’s Water Quality Standards for total and partial body contact recreation, officials said.
