OTSEGO, Mich. — Otsego Public Schools held a massive school supplies giveaway on Wednesday.
Planned and coordinated by Together Otsego Prospers, Otsego Public Schools (OPS), and the city of Otsego, this is the fifth year the giveaway has been held.

The giveaway, which included a free lunch to kids under the age of 18, served as the perfect example of OPS supporting area children year-round.
“I just love that we can give to our students and that our students know that we don’t just care about them September through June. Like in the summer, we are here for them,” said Julie Guthrie, food service coordinator for Otsego Public Schools.
