Kalamazoo recovery walk highlights barriers facing parents in treatment

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Mothers of Hope will host its sixth annual Walk to Celebrate Recovery on Saturday, aiming to raise awareness about substance use, reduce stigma and support those on the path to sobriety.

The walk begins at 10 a.m. outside the Northside Association for Community Development on Park Street. It is free, open to the public. Volunteers and vendors are welcome. Donations support both the event and the nonprofit’s recovery programs. Registration details are available here.
