KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Funding to support a Kalamazoo program that reunites those who are homeless with their loved ones is under consideration.
Monday, the Kalamazoo City Commission is expected to decide whether or not to approve an agreement with Kalamazoo County that would award $15,000 in funding to the “Finding Your Way Home” program.
The program aims to reunite those who are homeless with their loved ones “in hopes that such a reunion will manifest itself in a positive and productive change in the person’s life, and that such family will assist the individual with obtaining County and other human needs,” according to the agreement.
