People living in Kingston Township near M-46 may have a strange smell of dairy air for the next few days, as there has been a massive milk spill. Early in the morning on Tuesday, August 5 of M 46, Near Phillips Rd., over 12,000 gallons of milk were spilled and went right into a drainage ditch after a truck that was carrying it was involved in a severe crash, causing it to roll over multiple times off-road.
Luckily, officials were able to bring in sand and dam the river of milk that was flowing into the drainage ditch.

However, even though it is milk, it will require a certain level of environmental cleanup.
This is nowhere near as bad as the Kalamazoo River oil spill back in July 2010, when a pipeline operated by Enbridge burst and flowed into Talmage Creek, basically ruining the Kalamazoo River…
