KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a Port Huron man has been sentenced in connection with a deadly shooting in Kalamazoo that happened more than three years ago.
A judge on Monday sentenced Kareem Steele to 20 to 40 years in prison, with credit for nearly two years served, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said. Steele pleaded no contest to second-degree murder in March, according to police.
