No one hurt in Battle Creek shooting, police say

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — The rear window of an SUV was shot out during a shooting in Battle Creek Wednesday but no one was hurt, police said.

Just after 4:30 p.m., officers with the Battle Creek Police Department were called to Freedom Lane off of Forest Street for reports of shots fired. When they arrived, officers found three shell casings and a spent bullet in a parking lot. The rear window of an SUV was shot out.
