Western Michigan University expands walkway ahead of classes

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A pedestrian greenspace expansion worth $5.6 million is welcoming students to Western Michigan University ahead of a new fall semester.

Summer construction morphed a section of Michigan Avenue on campus from asphalt to sidewalk.
