Lost wallet leads to Kalamazoo murder suspect’s arrest in Florida

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say the person responsible for a deadly shooting in Kalamazoo in 2023 has been caught in Florida.

Daniel Partee, 34, was arrested Sunday by deputies in Hillsborough County, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said. That county includes Tampa.

Partee is awaiting extradition back to Michigan to face open murder and weapons charges in the death of Kunta Davis.
