“Camp Tavor holds a special place in my heart after experiencing so many incredible memories,” Morgan said. “When (Producer Christopher Gaida) suggested we shoot a horror film there, a light bulb went off.”
The film centers around eight college kids who head to fictional “Camp Lakeshore” and encounter Charles “Crazy Bones” Barnett who grew up on the land until it was taken from his family in 1986. Developers “bulldozed trees, erased family history, and even removed headstones from the burial plot to build a camp,” Morgan said.
Vengeful and “consumed by rage,” Barnett went on a killing spree and murders 23 counselors and campers. He was never found and legend goes he still haunts the property…
