What began as a beloved local spot became a family legacy when the Strawhun family stepped in to carry it forward, preserving recipes and traditions while adding their own energy and care. For them, Kazoopy’s isn’t just about pizza and grinders—it’s about quality, hospitality, and building connections that stretch far beyond the walls of their shops.
The Kazoopy’s story begins with Mark Rogers, the original founder, who opened the first shop in 2007. When he decided to step away from the business, the Strawhun family, longtime admirers of both the food and the philosophy behind it, stepped in to carry the torch. “Prior to Kazoopy’s I did marketing and promotion for small businesses,” recalls Gordon “Scott” Strawhun. “Kazoopy’s was a client, and I loved their food. When they decided to close, our family purchased the name and recipes and opened our first location.”
