KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Consumers Energy will be making upgrades to their system in Kalamazoo.
The work will temporarily interrupt electricity to roughly 2,000 homes and businesses from 11 p.m. Sept. 6 until as late as 7 a.m. the next morning.
The project is part of Consumers’ Reliability Roadmap, an effort to reduce the number and length of power outages in the state, the company said in a release.
