Historic Homes Tour will show off 19th century architecture for event’s 60th year

MARSHALL, Mich. — A historic home tour is coming back for its 60th year.

On Sept. 6 and Sept. 7 the annual Marshall Historic Home Tour is letting people experience the town’s 19th century charm through a showcase of seven preserved homes representing Marshall’s architectural heritage, according to Marshall Historical Society officials.

Homes included in this year’s tour include architectural styles such as Greek Revival, Farmhouse, Queen Anne, Octagonal Italianate, and a bungalow cottage.

The tour is self-driving and detailed maps will be available as well as musical entertainment along the path…
