2,000 Kalamazoo-area homes will be without power during planned outage

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI — About 2,000 Kalamazoo-area homes will be without power beginning at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6.

The scheduled outage will allow for substation maintenance in the area between U.S. 131 and Douglas Avenue, per a press release.

The yellow areas on the map, below, are the affected homes. Postcards were sent to the impacted addresses in advance.
