Domestic violence suspect prompted lockdown at Southwest Michigan schools

KALAMAZOO, MI — A domestic violence suspect prompted two schools in Schoolcraft to go on lockdown on Thursday, Sept. 4.

The suspect fled from a home near the school and was believed to be armed with a knife, said Michelle Greenlee, Kalamazoo County undersheriff.
