Rockford library breaks ground on expansion project
The Richland Community Library was founded by Joan Split in 1975 in the basement of what is now the Richland village office. In the early 1980s, the library entered and renovated its current building.

To celebrate its 50 years of growth, Merritt and the Richland Community Library are inviting folks in for an evening party complete with a bounce house, live music, 1970s era trivia, face painting, a costume contest and more from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m…
