Man charged with attempted murder in shooting near Battle Creek Central

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A man faces several criminal charges, including attempted murder, after a shooting near Battle Creek Central High School earlier this week.

Diondre Sanders, Jr., 18, was charged Thursday with assault with intent to murder, felon firearm, possession of weapons with unlawful intent, carrying a concealed weapon and discharge of a firearm from a moving vehicle, Calhoun County prosecutors confirmed.
