KALAMAZOO, MI — More Kalamazoo Public Schools students are accepting the challenge to enroll in Advanced Placement (AP) courses for college credit, officials say.
During the 2024-25 school year, 859 students at Kalamazoo’s three high schools enrolled in AP courses. That’s the highest number of students in the past 17 years to enroll in AP courses, according to recent data provided by KPS.
