The biggest Halloween fine art event in the Midwest is returning to Marshall, Michigan, once again in 2025. For so many years, Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween has been a show steeped in the tradition of friendship, fine craftsmanship and the love we all share for Halloween.
The event’s curator, Jennie Hepler-Takens, has nurtured the show and turned it into a 365-day-a-year project, which culminates in one day, which she highlights in a recent press release.

Each year, the very best within the genre of fine Halloween art are extended invitations to the show. This hand-curated group is a gathering of people who believe in Halloween art. They feel passionate about the work, and it makes no difference whether the spell is cast by paint brush or a needle and thread, down deep, the magic comes from the heart.

The event will be held within the historic Calhoun County Fairgrounds in Marshall, in one of the barns, and every year, the transition that the barn makes going from just a normal barn to a magical and whimsical expo of Halloween fine art is something to behold.

As Miss Hepler-Takens describes it, something else is in the works to create this unique environment.
As they unfold their artwork and begin to set up, it is as if by magic, the artists create an environment for their work and not just a table to display their works on. Featuring many mediums from pottery, art dolls, sculpture, wearable art, folk art, Illustration, paintings, spun cotton, metal, and soft sculpture, Bewitching Peddlers is sure to please collectors and Halloween enthusiasts alike.
