MDOT: West Main Street construction project wraps up

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan Department of Transportation and contractor Hoffman Brothers Incorporated have wrapped up work on West Main Street between Drake Road and US-131 in Kalamazoo.

The project started March 31 and cost just under $8 million.

A lane was added to westbound West Main Street from Drake Road to US-131, the Exit 38A from southbound US-131 to West Main was merged with Exit 38B, and the Maple Hill Drive intersection was rebuilt…
