A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Saturday at 7:09 p.m. EDT for strong thunderstorms until 7:45 p.m. EDT for Van Buren County.
Wind gusts of up to 40 mph and marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) are probable.
“At 7:08 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm over Marcellus, or 11 miles south of Paw Paw, moving north at 15 mph,” says the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”…
