Harvey’s on the Mall in downtown Kalamazoo had their final night of service Saturday after more than 40 years in business.
“So it’s bitter, maybe bittersweet, it’s meant so much I think to the community, it has meant a lot to me, I’ve made some really excellent friends, some of my very best friends out of this bar, and it’s sad to see it go,” patron Nate Vandenbrook said. “But you know, if the owners need to move on, the owners needs to move, and hopefully someone will come along and recreate such a special and magical place. “…
