New Owners Set To Honor Gene At Kalamazoo’s Pumpkin Farm

Last year, when Gene “the Pumpkin Man” passed away, the community was devastated to find out that the farm that they frequent every single fall in preparation for Halloween had lost its beloved owner.

Myron Eygene Rhodes, “Gene the Pumpkin Man,” and his farm were a heavily visited attraction every fall, and since his passing, people have been wondering what is next for Gene the Pumpkin Man’s farm, located at 22637 M–43 in Kalamazoo.

Incredibly enough, we have come to find out who the new owners are, as it will be staying in the family, according to their Facebook post.

We are so excited to share that we are officially the new owners of Gene The Pumpkin Man’s farm. We are Steele and Sadie Evans, Gene’s great nephew and niece-in-law, the fourth generation to farm this land…
