KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Hundreds of visitors from across the United States and Canada are expected in Kalamazoo this weekend for the annual Stuart Historic Homes Tour, marking its return after an 11-year hiatus.
The tour offers a unique opportunity to explore Victorian architecture in Kalamazoo’s original suburb, named for its founder, the late U.S. Senator Charles E. Stuart, in the 1850s.

Eight residential homes, the historic Woodward Elementary School, Bed & Breakfasts, and Kalamazoo’s oldest operating burial ground will be featured on the tour.
Attendees will also get to enjoy live music on the porches of historic homes, as well as stops at antique retail shops…
