OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies say one person was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Oshtemo Township, and another person was hospitalized after having been “severely assaulted.”
Around 3:30 a.m., the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to Mount Royal Apartments, located near the intersection of S. Drake Road and W. KL Avenue, for a report of shots fired.
Deputies said when they arrived on scene, they found two victims. One victim, a female, had been shot and was unresponsive, according to the sheriff’s office. The second victim, a male, had been “severely assaulted.”…
