Paw Paw man charged in road rage assault, chainsaw threat in Van Buren County

PAW PAW, Mich. — A Paw Paw man has been charged in a road rage attack involving a chainsaw in Van Buren County.

Leonard Yonkman, 68, was charged Tuesday with the following, according to court documents obtained by News Channel 3:

  • Assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder
  • Assault with a dangerous weapon
  • Malicious destruction of property ($200-$1,000)

His bond has since been posted, court records detailed.
