Founded in Kalamazoo in 1984, Hot ‘n Now once boasted more than 150 locations nationwide. After struggling in the ’90s and declaring bankruptcy in 2004, the chain dwindled down to a single Sturgis location, which developed a devoted following. Now, West Michigan fans can enjoy the nostalgic menu close to home.

New Wayland Hot ‘n Now Opens
The new Wayland restaurant, located at 1146 129th Avenue across from Gun Lake Casino Resort, is a 737-square-foot modular drive-thru topped with the brand’s signature red roof.
Built off-site in Alpena by co-owner Jeff Konczak’s B Cubed Manufacturing, the fully assembled building was delivered to Wayland in August and quickly installed.
Co-owned by GLI (Gun Lake Investments) CEO Monica King and Konczak under HNN Holdings, LLC, the restaurant celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday.
More than 150 vehicles lined up for first orders at 10:30 a.m., as fans returned to enjoy the chain’s nostalgic favorites…
