Man arrested after meth, cocaine, gun, money found in Paw Paw home

PAW PAW, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was arrested and charged after deputies found nearly 40 ounces of narcotics, a gun and cash in a Paw Paw home, deputies said.

The items were found while deputies with the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit were carrying out a search warrant at a home on Willard Street near Hazen Street. Detectives found a loaded 40 caliber handgun, 23.7 ounces of methamphetamine and 15.7 ounces of cocaine in the home. They also found $5,200 that deputies said was “directly related to the sale of the narcotics.”

Two children were in the house at the time and Child Protective Services were contacted, the sheriff’s office said…
