OTSEGO, Mich. — An Otsego man is scheduled to be sentenced Monday for his role in starting a fire that burned part of a local playground in September.
Michael Kilbourn, 37, pleaded guilty to third-degree arson at a plea hearing on Oct. 13. In exchange, a judge agreed to drop his other charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and habitual offender fourth offense.

Firefighters were called to Northside Park on Sept. 2 after it was reported that someone set the park’s wooden play structure on fire.
