KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A 13-year-old is expected to face charges after police say he had a BB gun and assaulted another student on a Kalamazoo school campus.
It happened shortly after 7 a.m. Friday outside Milwood Magnet School on Konkle Street north of East Cork Street.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says a 13-year-old who goes to a different school showed a BB gun to several students outside Milwood, then assaulted a 12-year-old. Police said the BB gun was “discarded” before the assault and was never fired. School staff secured it before officers arrived…
