MENDON — The top-ranked Mendon Hornets were to open this year’s playoffs, the school’s 19th consecutive trip, with a game against Grand Rapids Sacred Heart on Saturday afternoon. However, Sacred Heart has forfeited the contest as of Thursday morning.
