Two Kalamazoo-area high schoolers hurt after deadly weekend crash

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Two high schoolers are in the hospital after a wrong-way crash that left three people dead and three hurt in Allegan County early Sunday morning.

For hours, northbound US-131 near Martin Township was closed as police investigated.

Officials say the woman driving the wrong-way car died at the scene, along with two 18-year-old men — the driver and front seat passenger.
