KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo’s County Treasurer’s Office is launching a unique program that officials say will make buying a home a reality for more area residents.
Under the new local grant program, eligible homebuyers in Kalamazoo County can receive $5,000 from the county to help with their down payment or closing costs, along with up to an extra $2,000 from Independent Bank toward closing expenses.
