KALAMAZOO, MI — Kalamazoo officials unveiled a name for its new multipurpose building in a surprise event on Monday, Nov. 17.
The Don Cooney Cultivation Center will honor the long-time Kalamazoo Commissioner who “retired” from his seat on Monday night.
The building will weekly host winter markets and special events. It’ll also serve as the primary after-school programming site for Kzoo Parks, per a city press release.
